A bridge is one option in replacing a missing tooth or missing teeth. A Bridge is a non -removable series of crowns that are connected together and are cemented onto your own teeth. A Bridge is made from a variety of materials. Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal is porcelain fused or baked to metal crowns or bridges. This is the most common choice as it looks like your own teeth with the exception of a small metal band that is on your tongue side of your mouth. This metal band is barely visible but it is there. A bridge can also be made out of gold. It will look just like gold. An advantage to gold is that it is impossible to chip or break the restoration. Another option is the most aesthetic option. We use an all porcelain material called Hipped Zirconia. This material is gorgeous. When we recommend a bridge we will discuss all of your material options.
